Yes, after you register, you can run 5 minutes sessions as often as you like. Paid customers can run longer sessions and will be given priority over free session requests, but other than that, you can run as many free sessions as you want as often as you want.
We use a program called VNC to make the connection between your web browser and our servers. The screen is displayed in your browser using a java applet embedded in the page. Without Java installed and enabled, you will not be able to use the service.
Go to Sun's Java site and click the Verify Installation. It will verify that you have java enabled and provide you with help if it is not.
The VNC protocol has some inherent performance issues and does 'lag' some across the Internet as it transmits screen refreshes. It does, however, work well for our purposes as it works across multiple platforms and operating systems. Hopefully you will find the system still very usable and helpful in testing via systems and browsers you do not have direct access to in spite of the speed of the screen refreshes.
Not at this time. Our primary support mechanism is the Contact Us form. The emails from this form are monitored and we pride ourselves on our fast and personal response. In addition, we watch the feedback provided after testing sessions are run and respond to the customer as appropriate.
There is a black square below the cursor on all Windows 98 configurations. This square is a visual artifact in the VNC rendering of the page, and will not impact the operation of the system.
